AC Industrials launches Maxus as 6th automotive brand

AC Industrials, an Ayala company, launched Maxus Philippines on June 5, 2019 at the Blue Leaf Filipinas in Paranaque City. Maxus Philippines also introduced its flagship model the G10 family multipurpose vehicle (MPV), and the V80 Comfort, Flex and Transport vans... Maxus Philippines thus becomes the sixth automotive brand partner under AC Industrials' wing, which includes other world-renowned car brands Honda, Isuzu, Volkswagen, Kia and KTM motorcycles.

Francisco Romero Milán

Group Head of Human Resources and also the Chief Sustainability Officer for AC Industrial Technology Holdings Inc. In addition, he is an Executive Board member of the company. Prior to this, he was the Head of HR Operations for Asia-Pacific in Maersk. He is currently a member of the Board of Trustees and Executive Committee of Teach Philippines and is a Partner at Penbrothers International. He holds a Master’s degree in Human Resources from the Universidad de Almeria, where he graduated Summa Cum Laude and obtained the 2007 Spain National Student Prize.

Gabriel P. Blaza

Group Head of Corporate Strategy and Development for AC Industrial Technology Holdings Inc. and concurrent Chief Finance Officer of AC Motors, the firm's vehicle distribution and retail arm. he is also group Chief Risk Officer. Before these, he led strategic planning for Ayala Corporation, AC Industrials' parent firm. He has a BA in Management Economics from the Ateneo de Manila University and an MBA from the University of Notre Dame. He holds a CFA Charter.

Felipe P. Estrella III

Executive Director of Ayala Corporation. He is currently the Chief Finance Officer of AC Industrial Technology Holdings Inc. and President of both Automobile Central Enterprise, Inc. and Iconic Dealership, Inc. Prior to these roles, he was the Head of the Corporate Finance and Asset Management Group of Ayala Corporation. His experiences include working for SGV, East West Bank and Citibank in the Philippines and the U.S. He obtained his BS in Business Administration degree from the University of the Philippines and MBA from the Columbia University in New York, U.S.

Arthur R. Tan

President and Chief Executive Officer of AC Industrial Technology Holdings Inc. He has also been the Chief Executive Officer of Integrated Micro-Electronics, Inc. since 2002. Concurrently, he is a Senior Managing Director of Ayala Corporation and a member of the Ayala Group Management Committee. He has held various leadership roles in U.S-based firms. He has a BS degree in Electronics Communications Engineering from the Mapua Institute of Technology and attended programs in international schools.
